Basement Water Damaged

Water damage can occur in your home due to many issues; a pipe break, a roof leak, dishwasher overflow, and many more. Many things can cause your basement to take in water. More rain than normal, a failed sump pump or a leaking foundation. Whatever the case may be it is something that can be more than you can handle on your own. This basement happened to have a failed sump pump. The homeowner had called a plumber first and then started to clean up the basement on his own. After he found it to be to much so he called SERVPRO. We were able to come in and extract the remaining water, clean the floor with an antimicrobial, and dispose of the damaged carpet and padding.
